To launch Google’s Daydream VR platform, Warner Brothers approached Framestore as long-time trusted partners to develop a high fidelity VR experience for the nascent mobile platform, that would also excite the troves of fans about this new story within the Wizarding World. Working closely alongside the film’s VFX team, the VR team was able to design a compelling interactive experience that leveraged the highest fidelity assets.
Designed as headline content to launch Google’s Daydream platform, this activation first launched with a 2 to 3 minute in-store teaser, then later was released to the public on the Daydream platform with deeper gaming content and additional levels, and later ported across additional VR platforms.
