To promote tourism to the Hawaiian islands, we gave users the chance to glide into paradise through an immersive virtual reality experience. The application combines interactive adventures with stunning 360-degree live action footage.
Framestore designed an interactive hang-gliding experience that allowed users to drift over and around the Hawaiian islands, navigating to each of the island destinations featured. Once they land, they are launched into a story that showcases the variety of each island. Framestore directed, filmed and did post production on four 360-degree 3D films, highlighting each unique island story.
